The reseach project focuses on the implementation in Italy of international human rights treaties monitoring bodies' decisions, in order to exmine, in a systematic way, the opportunities and shortcomings of the current system with respect to the effective enjoyment of human rights.

  • On 5 December 2018, the first round table on "The implementation in Italy of international human rights treaties monitoring bodies' decisions: problems and lacunae", was held at the University of Parma. The event was organized by CSEIA in collaboration with the international and european human rights law interest group of the Italian society of International and European Union Law (SIDI), the interest group on domestic law and international law of the same society, and the Department of Law, Political and International Studies of the University of Parma.

  • On Monday 6 May 2019, the second round table on the topic of the "The implementation in Italy of international human rights treaties monitoring bodies' decisions: problems and shortcomings" was held at the University of Parma.
