| Marco Inglese is Associate Professor of European Union Law. Previously, he was a fixed-term researcher (2021-2024) and a research fellow (2019). He obtained his PhD in European Law, specialising in European Union Law (University of Bologna and University of Strasbourg, joint supervision, 2014). He holds a Master's degree in International and European Union Law (University of Bologna, 2010) and a Master's degree in Law (University of Bologna, 2009). He was a Bluebook Trainee at the Secretariat-General of the European Commission (2014) and a research assistant in the European Law Department of the TMC Asser Instituut (2010). His extensive teaching and research experience abroad includes periods at the Freie Universität Berlin, the University of Freiburg, University College Dublin, the China-Europe School of Law, the University of Sarajevo and the University of Strasbourg. His main research interests include the collaborative economy and the digital single market, citizens' initiatives and participatory democracy, the Ombudsman and the right to good administration, the right to health and cross-border patient mobility, and the regulation of food sustainability. |
