Simone Papale (PhD) is Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Law, Politics and International Studies, University of Parma. Simone holds a PhD in International Relations from the University of Nottingham. His research activity focuses on the study of contemporary warfare, dynamics of counter-terrorism, and mobilisation to violence. He is currently exploring the role of food in warfare and is writing a book on Food Warfare in contemporary politics.
