Perla Degli Innocenti is currently enrolled in the third year of the PhD programme in Food Science at the University of Parma, under the supervision of Prof. Francesca Scazzina. She holds a Master's Degree in Human Nutrition Science from the University of Parma and a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Padua.

Her research focuses on the implementation of innovative food education strategies aimed at families, with the aim of promoting a healthy and sustainable lifestyle in line with the principles of the Mediterranean diet.
