General Director of the Legal Service of the European Central Bank, she is a lecturer at the Institute for Law and Finance of the University of Frankfurt, at the European College of Parma, at the University of Bologna (in the Master of European Banking Law) and at the School of Law of the Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali (LUISS). Chiara Zilioli has contributed since the beginning of her career to the project of European integration, particularly to monetary union. A law graduate of the University of Parma, she has been Director General of the Legal Service of the European Central Bank for the past 10 years, which includes about 160 lawyers.
